The I2™ Long Range Information Midwave/NIR Beacon is an light based beacon that has integrated various functions of our Lightspeed Communication protocol to transmit basic data while flashing its beacon. Now, the beacon can transmit identification codes, basic commands and communications while flashing. It was designed for Identification of Friend or Foe (IFF), Communications (Information), Search and Rescue (SAR) and related applications. The I2™ employs large solid angles enabling visibility from air and ground/surface platforms.
I2™ can be custom configured with any 2 emitter banks from:- MWIR 3-5micron
- LWIR 8-12micron
- SWIR 1200-1700nm
- NIR 900-1000nm
- Any Visible color
