DL1™ Laser Warning Detector

The DL1™ extends laser warning system to laser Command and Control. In today’s battlefield environment it is important to notify the user of D-series product without using radio frequencies. All D-series devices designed and produced by TPL have a capability to receive optical communication messages. The DL1™ communication device is fully integrated with ATAK/CIVTAK or other equipment via USB-C. Large touch-screen display allows user to create a message even without external computer equipment. Point and shoot use of DL1™ will instantly transmit any encoded message in a wide field of view cone.

Examples of use are communication with drone or ground platforms at considerable distances without RF. DL1™ communication system can trigger the event or even turn on/off the power of the remote equipment. Operator has complete control over the protocols, message size/speed at speeds of up to 1MHz.
